Bush hammers are made of tungsten carbide tips, resulting in a combination of carbon & tungsten.
It is a very stiff & dense material (two times stronger than steel and is double the density of steel). Tungsten carbide is also used in different industries, such as cutting tools. The shape of the tips and their location on the bush hammer roll will ensure a longer lifetime. The bush-hammered concrete is usually used for swimming pool surroundings, or for the creation of anti-skid surfaces on terraces, garden paths, or pedestrian areas. This technique is also recommended for every smooth surface you want to make anti-skid.
